Four years ago this week, Officer Stephanie Brown was taken from us suddenly when she was struck head on by a suspected DWI driver driving in the wrong direction. It was March 15, 2011, when Officer Brown was responding to a call for an officer in trouble. Officer Brown was only 27 years old and left behind a baby girl.
Visit the Officer Down Memorial Page, www.odmp.com, to see the sacrifice happening all over our nation. “When a police officer is killed, it’s not an agency that loses an officer, it’s an entire nation,” says Chris Cosgriff, ODMP Founder. In addition, the families, friends and co-workers are left with a void that can never be filled. Our hearts go out to those missing their loved ones.
We remember Officer Stephanie Brown and honor all of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our city.
