As an Association, we are a family. Our number one goal it to protect the Association, its membership, and their families. We exist to act as one voice and one team. Over the last 18 months, we have been under attack from the City leadership. It hasn’t been easy to handle and often times it was personal. But, throughout the entire process, we remained professional and tried to the best of our ability to negotiate fairly and respectfully.
We are going to continue to do just that, with one caveat. We are going to take our message straight to the community as well. The SAPOA leadership decided to engage a full community outreach media plan. We want to put our facts on the table and give you, the member, as much informational support as possible. It began with radio and television and will continue with the use of social and print media.
We wanted to share with you our most recent Express-News full page ad we placed to highlight the key aspects of misinformation. It is simple. It is straightforward. This is just one piece of our public outreach strategy. We will be sharing more as the weeks progress.
